Word Web Presentations
Level: Low intermediate or above
Age Group: Secondary or University
e-Learning Mode: Non-live (with possible live presentations)
# of Students: As many students as needed
Instructions:
Ask students to work in groups and research a word or group of words and create a web showing related words (see example below). Groups may start their own group chat or call each other to accomplish this. Tools they may be able to use are:
their textbook
Corpus searches to see what words commonly precede or follow their target word
making a mind map online with Word, PPT, or online tools like Mindmeister or Miro
